In continuation of the Circular dated 24.12.2009, JNT University Hyderabad extends the winter vacation upto 5th January 2010
for all its constituent Colleges and Academic Units including JNTUH College of Engg. Jagityal and all affiliated Colleges of JNTU Hyderabad. All the above institutions remain closed during the above Vacation Period.
All the Examinations to be conducted by the University stands postponed and the revised schedule will be announced later.

All the principals of affiliated colleges of JNTUH are hereby informed that the colleges will be reopened on 21st December 2009. The revised academic calendars for all the courses will be kept in the website/Exam portal shortly. The dates for the exams are as follows
1. B.Tech / B.Pharmacy (Regular) IV Year. I Semester 02-01-2010
2. B.Tech / B.Pharmacy (suppl.) I Year, II & III Year II semester. 04-01-2010
3. B.Tech. (CCC) All years 04-01-2010
4. MCA V semester Regular & IV semester Supplementary 04-01-2010
5. MBA (PTPG) (All semesters) 04-01-2010
6. MCA & MBA I semester Regular & II semester suppl. 25-01-2010This inturn implies that the 15day holidays as declared by JNTU in the view of statehood agitations can be considered as
Semester-holidays i.e..upto 18th dec.
The academic classes for 2nd semesters will eventually start from 21st december..
while the only remaining exam of 4th year will be conducted on 2-dec-2010..
and the left over exams of subsequent years(3rd,2nd,1st) will carryon from 4-dec-2010.
Final Verdict: do not expect more holidays...it will be a series of exams n classes.

Hyderabad : With the situation in Telangana diffusing considerably, The JNTU-H Vice-Chancellor D.N. Reddy said a decision on the new dates would be taken on Monday. He said that the fourth year first semester exam that could not be held was likely to be held on December 19, while the supplementary exams were likely to begin on December 21. “A final decision will be taken on Monday after studying the situation,” he said.
